It isn’t a board book. The pages are premium paper, so it is best read together. The hardcover is the sturdiest choice for small hands and lasts for years on the shelf. The digital edition works well on a tablet at bedtime, and the PDF can go to grandparents straight away.

What is the youngest age it works for?
Two. The story is written for the age you enter, so a two-year-old gets much shorter pages than a six-year-old.
Is it a board book?
No. Printed books have paper pages in a paperback or hardcover. For toddlers we suggest the hardcover, read together.
Will a toddler photo work?
Yes. Any clear photo of their face works, even if they are mid-giggle. We check it and tell you if another would be better.
How does a personalised picture book from a photo work?
You add one clear photo of your child and answer a few fun questions: their name, age, favourite things and the adventure. We draw your child as the hero of a 32-page illustrated story, keeping their face, hair and skin tone recognisable on every page.
Can I see the book before I pay?
Yes. Your child’s cover and the first page of the story are made while you answer the questions, usually in under a minute, and you see them before checkout. You only pay if you love it.
How long does it take?
The digital book is usually ready about 10 minutes after you order. Printed books take 3 to 5 working days to print, then 3 to 7 days to post in the UK and US.
