Make a story from a picture of your child

From one picture to a whole story

First the picture becomes a storybook character in the art style you pick. Then you choose a world and an adventure, and add the details that make it theirs: a helper, their personality, a favourite colour and animal, and a lesson. The story is written in fifteen scenes, and each scene is illustrated with your child in it.

Their cover is ready in under a minute, free. If you like it, order and the rest of the book is ready about ten minutes later.

Making up stories from pictures together

Telling stories from pictures is also a brilliant game to play with children, and it builds the same skills as reading. Pick any picture, a photo or a page from a book, and ask four questions: who is this, where are they, what is the problem, and how do they fix it? Write down their answers and you have a story.
